I visit Henri Carrelet on a Tuesday afternoon in August, at his studio in Felanitx, Mallorca. He offers me water, then coffee. We walk around and talk. He talks the way he works — circling, returning, finding the shape of what he means as he goes.
The studio used to belong to his father. The house he lives in now belongs to his father. His father, Stan Carrelet, died four years ago, and Henri is here again, sorting out what that means. Not in some abstract, therapeutic sense. Physically. The shelves still hold some of his father's pieces. Henri lives in this house with his wife Pauline and their young daughters, making his own work in the room where his father made his.
He's aware of how that sounds. He brings it up before I do.
“When I'm here, everyone talks to me about my father,” he says. “It's nice in a way. But now it's time.” He leaves the sentence there. He doesn't need to finish it.

Folding guide — dual-use sheet

How to fold the fanzine
1.Print duplex, flip on long edge, 100% scale. Trim to A2 (420×594mm) along the crop marks.
2.Lay the sheet with Side A (magazine) facing you. Fold in half along the vertical centre fold.
3.Accordion-fold along the three horizontal fold lines to a 148×210mm (A5) leaflet — 8 panels.
4.Panel 01 (the masthead) is the fanzine cover. Fully unfolded, the Issue 01 poster is revealed inside.
5.Poster copies: leave the sheet flat — no folding.
